They say a picture is worth a thousand words. So we thought we'd tell the story of La Cachanilla Swap meet in El Dorado Ranch, San Felipe, with a solid collection of pictures.
As already mentioned, the La Cachanailla swap meet is located in the sprawling El Dorado Ranch complex which is located right on the edge of San Felipe - Mexicali Highway 5.
The swap meet is held every Saturday morning and ends about 10AM. So yes, this is only good for early risers. If you will be visiting San Felipe and are able to wake up early, it's highly recommended to check out the swap meet. It's not just a place to shop, but it's a place to meet friendly people, get some food and perhaps one or two souvenirs to take back home.
As demonstrated with this picture gallery, you will find everything under the sun - all displayed outdoors which adds to the fun of the swap meet. Everything from food items to artwork. The stands at the swap meet are manned by a good mix of Americans and Mexicans. No doubt, this was a concept imported by the Americans (or gringos) residing in San Felipe.
