It has become a tradition for the residents of San Felipe to mix pleasure with business. The BLUES & ARTS fiesta was held at LA VENTANA DEL MAR section of EL DORADO RANCH for the 8th year in a row. The fiesta started on Friday 28th and ended on Saturday March 29th with a fabulous display of talent on stage.
There is no better way to enjoy the beautiful sea of Cortez, superb music performers, amazing art crafts displays, good food and drinks, and the nicest weather, all this put together makes the BLUES & ARTS fiesta one of the most sort after events each year in San Felipe.
The Lions Club of San Felipe is responsible for this magnificent fiesta with sponsorship and support of local and foreign businesses. Once again, the Lions Club delivered a super organized show. Everyone involved in this event goes the extra mile to make it a success. They consider all of the possible ways to please the event attendees, starting with the magnificent location at LA VENTANA DEL MAR in EL DORADO RANCH framed by the beautiful sea of Cortez, followed by the visual delight of color and shape of the art crafts manufactured across the Baja region.
The music is the topic everyone is talking about, musicians from Mexico and the United States performed Friday and Saturday transporting the attendees in time and place, each one of the performers using the stage and instruments to its finest.
Performers include famous artists as “Mofo Party Band,” “Nathan James,” “Rhythm Scratchers” and “Missy Anderson”. Talking to the guests at the fiesta, many in the audience seemed to cherish the performance of Mofo Party Band a lot. In the words of one of the attendees, “….this band took the show to a whole new level.”
